Troy is a small terrier mix, who is up for adoption.

Troy was picked up by Bandade's President, Chris, on a busy street as he serpentined back and forth across the road. Luckily, he decided to crawl under Chris' car when she pulled over.

Troy is a cute, little dog and has made no messes in his crate or in the house where he has been staying. He seems to like other dogs (both big and small) and cats, and he does well on a leash. Troy loves attention, especially being carried around or sitting in your lap.

Troy is up-to-date with his routine shots and neutered.

Mama is a pit bull terrier mix, who is up for adoption.

Mama was rescued by a good samaritan from a parking lot. It looked like she had spent her young life being used for breeding.

Now Mama is happy and healthy and looks great!

She is very sweet and loyal, but she would do best as an only dog in a home without young children. Mama enjoys playing and does well on a leash. She is just waiting for her forever home.

Mama is up-to-date with her routine shots and spayed.

Monty is a wire-haired terrier mix, who is up for adoption.

Monty was found covered in burrs, and he had obviously been on his own for quite some time. Immediately after finding Monty, volunteers spent several hours removing the majority of the burrs and though this was obviously painful for Monty, he sat very patiently without any attempt to nip or bite.

Monty was neutered, and while he was out, the remaining burrs which were too deep to pull out were removed. He is now healthy and happy, and he is ready for his forever home.

Monty is a very loving dog who loves attention and cuddles. He is very well behaved, is house trained, and gets along well with other dogs and with kids. Monty sits on command and dances for treats.

Monty is up-to-date with his routine shots and neutered.

Converse is a hound mix that was rescued with his friend, Van, who is also up for adoption. The pair was found together at an industrial park before being scooped up by Bandade Animal Rescue.

Converse had a severe case of heartworms and needed to be neutered. He is now healthy and happy, and he is ready for his forever home.

Converse is sweet and affectionate and will make an amazing pet for any family of any size. Additionally, he is great with other dogs, cats, and children of all ages.

Ellis was found in the woods adjacent to a soccer field. Shee sure was lucky to be scooped up by Bandade as opposed to a coyote or another dangerous predator.

We believe that she and her brother and sister, Mia and Pele, had been dumped earlier that day... It was a hot day in Houston, and the three kittens would not have lasted for long!

Chowder was brought to Bandade Animal Rescue as an abuse case. He was rescued from an angry owner that would beat him with a stick.

Chowder is very sweet and loving, and he does well around other cats and dogs. He is also making leaps in potty training and crate training.

As soon as Chowder gets all of his shots and is neutered within the next few weeks, he will be ready for his new home. Will he be coming to yours?

Penny was rescued before a rainstorm with her four two-day-old kittens.
